- In 1998, Maria Lauren received an Award of Recognition from the City of L.A. Cultural Affairs for her Artistic Directing of Youth Empowerment Spotlight (Y.E.S.). This after-school program created by Maria Lauren developed the talents of youth from non-profit centers and schools to promote a better environment, peace and prevent crime through the musical review, YOU GOT THE POWER.

- As the Alberici Sisters, Maria and sisters, Linda and Darlene produced their own show, performing internationally including a command performance for The Royal Family of Monaco in 1985.
- The Alberici Sisters co-starred with celebrities like Bobby Vinton, Norm Crosby, Donny & Marie Osmond, and Jay Leno, also headlining to glowing reviews in leading show room such as: Studio One – Los Angeles; Executive Inn – Indiana, Kentucky; The Mandarin – Singapore; Atlantic City Main Room Casino’s like the Golden Nugget and Harrah’s; Las Vegas Main Room Casino’s like the MGM Grand and a tour of Japan.

- In 1982, after thousands of applicants, Maria and her sister, Linda, were chosen to be on-going television hosts of the KT-TV Bed-time Movie. Maria Lauren continued acting with starring roles on Knight Rider, Quantum Leap … etc.
- In 1980, Maria and sister, Linda, “Alberici” had featured picks in Billboard, Cash Box and Record World, as singer/ songwriter/ recording artists.

- In 1977, The Golddiggers, including Maria Lauren and sister, Linda, were the opening act for the “Rat Pack Tour” starring Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Following that tour, third sister, Darlene, joined The Golddiggers to tour with Donald O’Conner, Dick Shawn and Milton Berle, where Maria was honored to prove her comedic/acting ability as the leading lady in the star-studded Vaudeville Skit.

- In 1973, after a national audition, Maria and her sister, Linda, were flown to Hollywood to be members of The original Golddiggers of the Dean Martin Comedy Hour and TV Specials. They co-starred with Dean Martin and many Stars at the opening of the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas and were regular perfomers at Caesar’s Palace. Some of the stars that they appeared with on stage and television were: Gene Kelly, Bob Hope, Joan Rivers and Jerry Lewis, Louie Prima, Jerry Vale, Bobby Goldsboro, Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme … etc.

Maria (AKA: Maria Elena Alberici), as listed in the Almanac of Woman’s Bodybuilding was crowned Miss Pennsylvania and Miss Photogenic in 1971.
Maria also won Two National Fitness Championships in 1972: Miss Body Beautiful USA and Miss Americana with Arnold Schwarzenegger as a judge.

Maria Lauren is the eldest of nine children raised with health and fitness values. Her family were ”Health Pioneer’s” in the 50's and 60's. White sugar, white flour and meat were forbidden in her household. As a teenager, Maria starred in many off-Broadway musicals and local television shows in her hometown of Philadelphia. Her mom was a Big Band singer, so Maria began singing with Bands at an early age and learned the vocal techniques of Enrico Rosati, (Maria Lanza’s teacher) from her dad. Maria continued studying voice from N.Y. to L.A. from teachers like Seth Riggs.
Maria Lauren presently lives in the Los Angeles Valley with her talented daughter, Marianna and devoted husband, Carmine.
VOCAL POWER: Maria Lauren is a Vocal Coach teaching singing techniques from the “Masters” for performances and recording.
